Estimate whole-house plumbing cost from water points, drainage points, riser and main line lengths, tank connections and sanitary fixtures—with editable Nepal planning rates.

Example rates only — replace with local quotes
Point rates assume CPVC supply and PVC drainage with standard fittings and labour. Pipe brand, concealed versus exposed runs, hot-water looping, imported sanitaryware and multi-storey pumping change the total. Septic tank, soak pit and sewer connection are separate scopes—size those with the septic tank calculator.

Whole-house plumbing spread over bathroom count
Planning estimate only—not a quotation and not a plumbing design. Septic tank and soak pit construction, municipal sewer or water connection charges, rainwater downpipes, solar or gas water heating, water treatment and pressure-boosting systems are outside these lines unless you add them.
What this estimate assumes
What counts as a plumbing point
A water point is one tap, shower, flush or appliance connection fed from the riser. A drainage point is one trap or waste outlet connected to the stack.
Suggested counts assume four water points and three drainage points per bathroom, two water points and one drain per kitchen.
Riser length is the vertical and horizontal main run, not the branch pipework inside rooms—that sits inside the point rate.
Fixtures are counted as pieces (WC, basin, shower set, mixer, sink, tap) so you can price a basic and a premium package side by side.
Formulas used
Points cost = water points × water rate + drainage points × drainage rate
Riser cost = riser length × riser rate
Subtotal = points + riser + tank package + fixtures
Total = subtotal × (1 + contingency%)
Practical guide
Understand the numbers before you use them on site
Read the related guide for assumptions, ordering tips and ways to compare the estimate with actual site records.
Yes. The Plumbing & Sanitary Cost works in your browser without an account. You can install GharNaksa when you want to track the real project costs, payments and progress.
Can I use this result as a final quotation or professional approval?
No. It is a planning estimate based on the information you enter. Verify rates, quantities, drawings, local requirements and contract terms with the appropriate qualified professional before making a commitment.
How do I track the estimate during construction?
Use GharNaksa to record actual material deliveries, labor, payments, bills and site photos. Comparing the estimate with a dated site record helps reveal cost differences early.
